As individuals we are constantly faced with difficult decisions, life transitions, and life changing events. And as someone who has first hand experience dealings with stressors I know it can lead to feeling overwhelmed with emotions like stress, conflict, and anxiety. I believe that as a therapist, the most important thing is my client and their well-being. I will work in collaboration with you from an eclectic approach by using interventions and techniques that best fit your needs. I draw from a range of techniques but not limited to cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I am committed to providing culturally informed therapy to all my clients, including those from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I especially work with individuals from South Asian background, by understanding their needs, perspective and challenges. As a therapist I believe, everyone deserves a life that is fulfilling, authentic and joyful. I provide therapy in English, Urdu and Hindi.
